AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - It’s been nearly seven years since a 22-year-old was gunned down on the front porch of his South Augusta home.
Marcellus Flores was found shot to death outside his home on Daisy Lane in March 2019. As the anniversary of his murder approaches, his mother and family are renewing their plea for answers.
“You as a mother, you as a parent, you’re here to guide and protect your children, and I feel like I failed him because he hasn’t gotten that justice,” said Hope Ciccio, Flores’s mother.
It’s a pain that time can’t heal.
