We finally saw a few showers yesterday! However, the coverage was minimal and did not significantly impact the ongoing drought across the state.

THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Temperatures are in the 60s this morning and this afternoon, and highs will return to the low and mid-90s. Expect a good mix of sun and clouds with a few isolated showers.

Overnight, the weather will remain quiet, and temperatures will fall into the upper 60s.

THE NEXT BIG THING: The risk for rain will remain isolated through the weekend, and highs will continue in the 90s. Late next week, a boundary moving in from the northwest could increase the coverage of rain across the state.
