KENYA – Salome, raised in a large but struggling family, dropped out of school in Form 3 due to financial challenges and began working as a house help.

She fell pregnant by a man she loved, but her strict mother forced her to leave home. While working in a nearby village, one of her employer’s sons took an interest in her and eventually accepted both her and her child.
