QUEEN CREEK, AZ (AZFamily) — A former Queen Creek group home worker has been indicted for sexually assaulting a teen girl who was under his care.

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced that Christopher Lamont James Allen, 48, was indicted on two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, both felonies.

Earlier this month, a 17-year-old girl told staff members that she was sexually assaulted by Allen, who worked at Desert Lily Academy, a group home that serves girls who are victims of abuse. Allen was working as a “coach counselor” and was also in charge of supervising the teens.

Court documents say the victim told authorities that Allen sexually assaulted her twice in July. The victim said she had been “on watch” and was sleeping on the lobby couch because she was at risk of
