TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department announced several arrests in connection with a stolen trading cards investigation.
The TPD says investigators were alerted to repeat shoplifters selling stolen trading cards on social media.
Police say the suspects shoplifted approximately $2500 in trading cards.
Investigators identified the suspects and their residence.
Police say TPD SWAT assisted with the service of a search warrant due to the suspects’ criminal history involving weapons.
During the service of the search warrant police recovered a firearm, narcotics, and a large number of stolen goods.
