Evacuation in place in DeRidder due to bomb threat at courthouse

DERIDDER, La. (KALB) - Residents and businesses are being told to evacuate downtown DeRidder due to a bomb threat at the courthouse , according to the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office.

DeRidder City Police are also working with BPSO to evacuate and investigate the situation.

Residents and travelers are asked to avoid the area at this time. This is a developing situation.
