Just ask Fort Smith City Director Andre Good , who’s facing calls to eject him from public office after he quietly and unobtrusively left the room at a Tuesday night meeting during a moment of silence called to honor the culture war profiteer.

Good didn’t make a show of it. He simply retreated, then returned when the moment was over. For this, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports , a number of people are demanding he resign. A recall petition is circulating that could force Good’s removal.
