STAFFORD, Va. — A Virginia man is frustrated with his experience at the Joint Base Andrews Air Show this past weekend, and now he's even more frustrated over his failed attempts to get a refund.
Vincent Donnelly, a retired Air Force officer, spent $385 on two VIP tickets to attend Saturday's air show at Joint Base Andrews with his wife. The couple has fond memories of taking their kids when they were younger, sitting on the flight line and enjoying a picnic. He said his experience included extremely long lines, transportation issues, high heat, and a lack of communication.
"There were a lot of mistakes made, there were a lot of issues,” Donnelly said. "We spent three hours just trying to get there."
