SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Former tenants from what was Skyline Apartments could share a settlement of $800,000, court papers show, after a years-long lawsuit against its owners.

Each member of the lawsuit, all of whom would be former tenants of the Syracuse complex, can receive at most $22,275, plus service award payments to the three named plaintiffs: Martina Carter, Anne McCheyne, and Larry Fuller.

Judge Deborah Karalunas has not yet signed off on the settlement, which she will review in the coming weeks.

Back in 2021, the three tenants filed a class-action lawsuit against their landlords, former Syracuse football player Tim Green and his son Troy. The tenants reported living in squalor and dangerous conditions while the Greens "failed in every aspect of building management except c
