SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Shreveport Police Department announced two arrests this week in separate domestic violence cases involving weapons.

According to a news release from the Shreveport Police Department, on September 15, 2025, officers arrested Michael Muccullum on charges of stalking and aggravated assault upon a dating partner. Two days later, on September 17, 2025, John Johnson was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse battery with a weapon.

Both cases underscore the serious threat domestic violence poses to victims and families, police said in the news release. The department stressed its commitment to holding offenders accountable and addressing such crimes with urgency.
