SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport police are investigating an overnight shooting on Poland Street.

SPD was called to the 1500 block of Poland Ave at 1 a.m. for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found two deceased male victims and learned that several other people were shot and either brought to area hospitals by Shreveport Fire or private automobiles.

Investigators were told that people were gathered in a vacant lot, and an unidentified person or persons shot into the crowd.

The investigation is ongoing.
