Richie Frieman is a Baltimore-based author who was attending the local walk to end Alzheimer's in his area. Alzheimer's has impacted his own family, as well as his wife's. That day, they were there to honor their friend's father, who had recently passed away.
"One of my best friends, his dad died that summer before the walk.
