Nestled in downtown Kings Mountain, in a building that used to churn out copies of the Kings Mountain Herald and still bears the printing press ink stains on the basement floor, is a magical little museum that captivates both children and adults.

Set in well-lighted, glass display cases march thousands of nutcrackers.

There are moonshiners and chefs, circus performers, Mariachi band players, Halloween themed nutcrackers, a limited edition Pope Leo XIV, a Donald Trump and Elon Musk, Disney characters, a whole section of St. Patty's nutcrackers, the old lady who lived in the shoe and the more traditional Christmas nutcrackers.
