Four fire crews battled a blaze at a shop in Wisbech during the early hours of Friday morning (September 19). A police investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire on North Street.
A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson explained: "At 12.24am on Friday (19) crews from Wisbech and March , along with crews from West Walton and Outwell in Norfolk , were called to a fire on North Street in Wisbech. Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in a building.
"Wearing breathing apparatus, they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 3am. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated."
