PHOENIX — A section of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 will be closed this weekend in downtown Phoenix.
The closure starts near the Interstate 17 interchange and ends at the State Route 51 interchange, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The closure starts Friday, Sept. 19, at 9 p.m. and ends Sunday, Sept. 21, at 5 a.m..
ADOT said eastbound drivers can take southbound I-17 as a detour to get back on I-10 near Sky Harbor Airport.
A section of the westbound lanes of US 60 will be closed from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday, ADOT said. The closure is taking place between I-10 and Country Club Drive.
As a detour to get around the US 60 closure, drivers can take the Loop 202 to State Route 143 to get back to I-10.
