Downtown Little Rock’s Ottenheimer Hall will close this fall for renovations, Mayor Frank Scott Jr. announced during a press conference Friday.

Scott said city officials have “identified funding to reshape, reimagine Ottenheimer Hall.”

“We haven’t seen it taken down in 20 years or so, but we would take down River Market Hall to reimagine it and bring back a more lively entertainment space,” Scott said.

Just south of Riverfront Park and in the heart of the River Market District, Ottenheimer Hall is host to a variety of food stalls but is only open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
