RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A longtime engineer at the North Carolina Department of Transportation is facing a felony peeping charge in Raleigh, a warrant shows.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded on Monday just before 8:30 a.m. to an alleged burglary at a home in the 2200 block of Lionel Lane. They identified the suspect as 54-year-old Brian Keith Mayhew of Raleigh.

Mayhew is an engineering director at NCDOT and the state traffic engineer for the Transportation and Mobility Safety Division. He has been with NCDOT for 30 years, according to the department.
