FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were shot in the Fresno community of Pinedale early Friday morning, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Police say just after midnight, police received a six-round ShotSpotter activation along with calls of shots being fired in the area of Fir and Beechwood avenues. A person in the area also called saying that there were two victims of a shooting.
Officers say they found a 15-year-old boy with three gunshot wounds to his upper body, and he is listed in critical but stable condition. The second victim was a 16-year-old boy with one gunshot wound to his hand.
Both victims were transported to Community Regional Medical Center.
Investigators say the boys were at a home and left on foot, walking northbound on Maroa
