A Montgomery man was arrested after police said he threw large rocks onto a busy Alabama highway.

Tyrese Hayes, 38, was arrested Sunday and identified as the suspect after a victim reported the incident to nearby officers.

Four vehicles were damaged on Gadsden Highway near Roebuck Parkway, police said. No injuries were reported.

Hayes was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on multiple charges and is being held on a $102,000 bond.
