NORMAL, Ill. (WMBD) -- One local soon-to-be Eagle Scout used his love for his dog to turn a once run-down garden into a beautiful memorial for pets who have passed on.
"In the back, there is a pet cemetery with about 200 gravestones dating back to the 1950s to 1960s. To show that they still care and that they're pet people, too. I built them a Rainbow Bridge," said Logan Moran, soon to be Eagle Scout and local high school student.
Logan then dedicated his Eagle Scout project to building this memorial at the Wishbone Canine Rescue, so that people whose pets have passed on can remember them in a special way.
"The Rainbow Bridge poem is kind of a way to show that pets crossing over to heaven, those still there, that they're waiting for you on the other side," Moran said. "I think it's goin
