PHOENIX (AZFamily) — There’s a new social networking app trying to break into Phoenix, but there’s a catch and not everyone can join. It’s an app called Clockout , and it only accepts members making at least $80,000 a year, more than the median salary in Arizona and across the country.

It describes itself as “an exclusive localized network for the next generation of professionals.”

“I feel like if you’re making 80k, you already have that networking like ability to make, that much money,” said 23-year-old Sam Goldstein.

The social network requires proof that well more than the median U.S. salary of about $62,000 and higher than Arizona’s $64,000.

“Feels like a cool idea, maybe, but that’s a lot of money,” said Parker Johnston, a law student.
