TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Sun Tran recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with an event in the heart of the Old Pueblo.

The celebration took place at the Ronstadt Transit Center downtown, drawing riders, families and community members to join in the festivities.

Attendees enjoyed food trucks, games, and prizes throughout the event, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.

"We care about the riders and that's why we're having this event today, we want to hear from the riders," Mike Oglesby said, Sun Tran general manager.

The anniversary celebration provided an opportunity for riders to share their thoughts and engage with Sun Tran.
