Looking to get out and embrace autumn? Here is a look at some upcoming fall events in Gaston County:
September • The Schiele Museum will host an autumn festival from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 20. It will include a pumpkin to take home, hayrides, planetarium show and more. Tickets are required and can be found at schielemuseum.org . • From 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, Connections Church will host a free fall festival at 305 McAdenville Road in Belmont. It will include games, face painting, snacks, hayrides, photo opportunities and a bike parade.
October • Gastonia will host a fall festival from 3-7 p.m. Oct. 18, at its Rotary Centennial Pavillion, 107 N. South St. The event will include food trucks, a beer garden, live music, vendors and a free KidsZone with mechanical rides, inflatables
