Officers with the Jasper County Sheriff's Department say a man who was wanted in connection with a parole violation by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice was arrested on Friday in Kirbyville. However, they say Blake J. Burch, 39 was wanted in connection with assault here in Jasper County.

The arrest of Burch reportedly came after officers learned he was at a home in the 1004 block of Margret Street.

Burch was taken to the Jasper County Jail where he was at last word still being held.
