The Seahawks are back in town this Sunday as the New Orleans Saints visit Lumen Field (1:05 p.m. kickoff). No matter the result, 12s shouldn’t have to worry about missing any touchdowns this year because they’re stuck in line buying beer.

This season, Lumen Field is operating 15 automated “Just Walk Out” shops around the stadium. That’s three times as many “checkout-free” concession stands compared with 2022, when this cashierless technology debuted in Seattle. That year, the Seahawks became the first NFL team to adopt the automated technology.

These concession stands (which will also be familiar to Kraken fans) allow customers to scan a credit card (or Amazon One ID) upon entering, grab a snack, then return to their seats with a pizza, pasta bowl, hot dog, beer or wine without checking
