A walk through Woodlands Park just got much more vibrant, and that’s thanks to the Perrysburg Sculpture Walk.

The fifth annual walk, located at 429 E. Boundary St., welcomes 13 newly installed sculptures that reflect various mediums: from cast glass and wood to salvaged steel and stone. The new pieces launched on Aug. 31, and are free for public view year-round.

Robin Ballmer, the sculpture walk’s curator, explained that the art showcased at the park is “art as art is intended,” featuring both local and nationally recognized artists.

“It’s approachable. It’s diverse,” she continued. “There’s pieces that are obvious, but there’s pieces that leave room for you to narrate your own story.”
