LOUISVILLE — Below are updates and analysis from Saturday’s Bowling Green State University football game against Louisville.

FIRST QUARTER

■ What happened: BGSU connected on a long field goal before Louisville responded with a quick scoring drive.

The Falcons recovered a Louisville fumble by Caullin Lacy on a punt and capitalized four plays later with a 49-yard field goal by Jackson Kleather with 6:44 left.

After a long kickoff return, Louisville marched 60 yards in seven plays to take the lead. Keyjuan Brown’s 2-yard touchdown run with 2:03 left gave the Cardinals the lead.

BGSU had just 51 total yards, but five first downs. Louisville had 79 yards.
