LAFAYETTE, Ala. (WTVM) - LaFayette Mayor Kenneth Vines has confirmed via social media that someone has died following an incident near LaFayette High School.

The Mayor Vines reported that the incident was not related to the high school football game between Lanett and LaFayette and should not be associated with the city or the high school.

Mayor Vines also reported that an arrest has been made in the incident.
