CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Clarksburg History Museum is working to make local history fun by launching their new kid friendly newspaper, The History Tree: Clarksburg's Story from A to Z.

The paper, funded through a grant from Sacred Heart Children’s Center, is a free newspaper that "explores the unique people, places, and events that shaped Clarksburg and Harrison County," according to a press release from the museum.

The paper features activities such as stories, illustrations and puzzles. Sticking with the title, each letter of the alphabet also stands for a different part of Clarksburg's history, such as T for theaters, K for Kelly Miller School, or N for neighbors.

The museum also got the permission to feature local artist Katy Crim's 26301 artwork in the paper as well.
