MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Morgantown High School hosted their 59th annual Band Spectacular at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday, featuring 14 bands from north central West Virginia and western Pennsylvania.

The opportunity to play in the mountain state's biggest stadium was a highlight to many of the students participating. Morgantown High School band director Lorne Hyskell was especially excited.

"I think WVU as a whole is really important to our state," Hyskell said. "And so having the opportunity for these students, many of which might end up there, to have a chance to play on this exact field where a lot of them see things happening on Saturdays on gamedays, I think that's a really impactful thing for the students to get this opportunity."
