SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The International Waterlily Collection held its 20th annual Water Lily Festival on Sep 20.

The festival featured vendors, sweets, bounce houses and education about the collection and the importance of water lilies to their ecosystems. Taylor Twombly, the director of the collection, said he was happy about the turnout.

"The festival has been great," Twombly said. "We've got Kona Ice out here. We've got Angelo Inflatables. We've got a great turnout. Everybody's been having a great time."

Twombly talked about the vendors and the great work they did for the festival.
