SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — San Angelo police held a press conference on Tuesday, Sep. 23, to address two separate shootings over the weekend that left two men critically injured.

Speaking at the press conference, Chief Travis Griffith described the first shooting:

“First, the shooting that occurred at Ninth and Chadbourne… that was in regards to a shooting victim. Officers arrived to find a victim there," Griffith said. "Enemencio DeLaRosa, 35, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was treated at Shannon Medical Center and later transported to San Antonio for further treatment. The suspect, Allen Helms, 34, was taken into custody without incident. He's been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon… Mr. DeLaRosa is currently on life support, and there is
