SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The National Weather Service (NWS) said on their website that San Angelo and areas north of the city to have thunderstorms during the night of Sept. 23.
There is marginal risk of severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening across the northern half of West Central Texas, according to NWS.
A graphic the NWS provided listed damaging winds, large hail and lightning as potential hazards for the storms. The graphic also says the storms are predicted to start around 4 p.m. and continue until midnight.
At the time of publication, the current weather conditions are 98 F, clear skies, 31% humidity with winds coming in from the South at 15 mph. There is a 20% chance of thunderstorms at the time of publication. The forecast called for 40% chance
