BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WBOY) — Shiny chrome, revving engines and the sound of laughter filled the Jenkins Ford lot on Saturday as the dealership hosted its annual car show, raising money to support pancreatic cancer research.
The cause is one that hits close to home for Jenkins Ford staff. In 2007, the dealership lost a beloved former employee to pancreatic cancer, a disease that remains the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States, according to the National Cancer Institute.
