Popular Aldi dumplings have been pulled from shelves for the second time in two months after food authorities warned the product could contain glass.
Food Standards Australia has issued a recall notice for Aldi’s own brand of frozen Urban Eats vegetable gyozas.
The 750g, green-packaging frozen dumplings were sold across the country except in Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
“The recall is due to the presence of foreign matter (glass),” the recall notice stated on Friday.
“Food products containing glass may cause illness or injury if consumed.
“Consumers should not eat this product. Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”
