LAMY — Beer and bratwurst, as it turns out, can be a potent panacea for cancer recovery.
“I'm not going to lie. It's hard,” said Laura Wilson, 63, who was told recently she had survived her bout of breast cancer, her chest scar visible Saturday as she stood among the sunlight-soaked beer drinkers.
“ She just got through in her cancer,” said husband Ken Wilson, 61, “So I said, ‘Lets do something. And we’re out here to do it.' "
“ He's good to me,” said his wife. “He's been there throughout everything. So we're celebrating.”
