FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Evening storms have left multiple homes and businesses in Fayette County without power.

According to Appalachian Power, 289 customers are without power in Fayette County as of Saturday night.

The bulk of the outages are being reported in the Wingrove, Scarbro, and Oak Hill areas with 244 confirmed outages.

The estimated time for restoration is Sunday, September 21, at 4:30 AM.

Crews are assessing the situation and the cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
