DICKINSON — Nothing went right for the Dickinson State Blue Hawks in their top-25 showdown with the Carroll College Fighting Saints. In Saturday’s meeting, the first between the two programs since 2013, the Fighting Saints stormed inside the Henry Biesiot Activities Center and dismantled the Blue Hawks, 35-7, handing DSU its first loss of the 2025 campaign.

The turning point of the game for DSU came on Carroll’s third series of the contest. Dickinson State took a roughing the punter penalty, which gave Carroll College the ball back at the DSU 37-yard line. The Fighting Saints would go onto score at the 7:03 mark of the first to go up 7-0.
