TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Saturday marked the final day for this year’s Magic Valley 9/11 Memorial flag display over the Snake River Canyon.
An assembled team of crew members safely lowered “The Patriot” from its anchors in the morning. The wind challenged crews as they lowered the 13,700-square-foot, 400-pound American flag onto a boat.
The team comprised the sheriff’s office, Twin Falls Sheriff Search and Rescue, Magic Valley Paramedics’ Special Operations Rescue Team, the Twin Falls Fire Department, AWOL Adventures, and Magic Valley 9/11 Memorial board members.
“We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by to show support for first responders, share kind words, and express their love and patriotism,” the sheriff’s office said. Your encouragement mean
