While the glitz and glamour of Strictly Come Dancing returned to our screens last night with its sequin filled launch show, one contestant is already in hot water as viewers sense tension in the new Strictly partnership. ‌

However, The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner has since taken to social media to issue a promise to his professional dancing partner ahead of the first live show next week, saying he "won't let her down". ‌

Last night, September 20, Strictly danced back onto our TVs and partnered up 15 anxious celebrities with their professional dancers. The episode revealed that Thomas was partnered up with Welsh dancer Amy Dowden , who is making her Strictly comeback after fighting cancer and an injury last year. ‌
