COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 71 in south Columbus early Sunday morning, according to police.
Just after 12:50 a.m., police say an adult was driving a Nissan Murano southbound on I-71 from the state Route 104 entrance ramp when an unknown vehicle bumped the Nissan from behind.
Police said the Nissan was forced off the roadway and into the tree line on the west side of the road.
The driver of the unknown vehicle did not stop to assist the driver of the Nissan or exchange personal information. The driver of the Nissan was critically injured.
