PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Prince George's County police arrested a driver Saturday after they allegedly struck someone with a car in Hyattsville, injuring them.

Details surrounding the incident are limited; however, the Prince George's County Police Department said officers had responded to the 2300 block of University Boulevard at around 2 p.m. for the report of someone trying to strike people with a car.

At the scene, officers found one person with minor injuries, police noted. Medics took the person to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, officers took the driver into custody.

Prince George's County police continue to investigate a motive in the case. At this time, investigators have not released the driver's name or specified what they might be charged with.
