MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A homicide investigation is underway in Montgomery County after a man was found dead in an apartment Sunday.

Details are limited; however, Montgomery County police said officers found the man after responding to the 5900 block of Montrose Road for a "death investigation" around 7:45 a.m.

After finding the man dead inside the North Bethesda apartment, the case turned into a homicide investigation.

As of Sunday afternoon, the circumstances surrounding the man's death remain unclear, and police have not released his name.
