CINCINNATI (WXIX) -One person is in the hospital after a shooting occurred in Mt. Adams early Sunday morning, according to Lt. Jonathan Cunningham with the Cincinnati Police Department.

Lt. Cunningham says officers were called to the 1200 block of Louden Street near Mt. Adams Bar and Grill and Hookah Corner around 2:10 a.m.

A 39-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to UC Medical Center. Lt. Cunningham said.

Lt. Cunningham says the victim is in critical condition.

Officers have not stated if they have a suspect.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
