Julian Edelman is now among the Patriots greats after he was enshrined into the team Hall of Fame on Saturday . Robert Kraft gushed over the former wide receiver while introducing him, and continued the praise on Sunday.
“He represents all the little guys in America, all the late-round draft picks who plays with a big heart,” Kraft said on FOX’s pregame show. “Everyone here loves this guy because, think about today’s modern NFL. He stayed with us all 12 years, played his whole career here and helped us win three Super Bowls. Always put the team first, showed a great work ethic. Just a perfect example of what a great teammate is. And we were lucky to have him. He came as a seventh-round draft pick and just outworked everybody.”
