PULLMAN, Wash. — Pullman Police Department (PPD) asks for help searching for a 20-year-old man who was involved in a shooting early Sunday morning.

Police say at 1:47 a.m., they responded to a shooting on the 3100 block of NW Cottonwood Lane. Arriving on scene, officers say they saw a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

PPD says the 19-year-old was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Officers are investigating the shooting, but they say they have a person of interest.

Police say the shooting appears to be an "isolated accident." There is no known threat to the public.

They are searching for 20-year-old Jakori C. Buchanan. He's a black man who's 5'7" and 143 lbs. He was last scene with a white shirt, blue jeans and white shoes. PP
