Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the most recent incident at a premises in Temple Bar at approximately 11.15pm.

Gardai confirmed a man in his 20s was conveyed to St James’s Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.

It is understood he received a knife wound to the chest.

They said another man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin area and being questioned under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

A Garda spokesperson said investigations are ongoing.

The latest attack comes just a month after another English tourist was allegedly attacked in the same area of Temple Bar.
