KANE, Pa. (WTAJ)— An early morning fire in McKean County turned deadly after a car slammed into a building, igniting flames that forced a large emergency response.
The Kane Fire Department said crews were dispatched just before 4 a.m. Sunday to 124 North Fraley Street. When the first chief arrived, heavy smoke and fire were coming from the structure, prompting a second alarm. A third alarm was called shortly after, with multiple victims trapped inside.
In total, three people were rescued from the building, but one person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the fire department.
