OREGON - The renowned " Oregon Forensics " program at the University of Oregon, a staple since 1876, is facing a critical turning point, according to the program's director, Trond Jacobsen.
The Clark Honors College has decided to cut its funding, a move that has shocked many and put the future of the historic program in jeopardy.
"It's very clear that forensics has played a bigger role at the University of Oregon than in any other public university. And it's also reasonably fair to say we played a bigger role as a public university than any other in international and national forensics," said Jacobsen.
