LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Humidity will allow a few daily storms this week before a front arrives to bring a better chance for rain.
Warm and humid weather will start the work week with highs near 90 degrees on Monday. Rain doesn’t look as widespread as Sunday with a disturbance moving away from SWLA. But the humidity should allow at least a few showers and storms, so keep a close eye on the sky when heading outdoors from the late morning into the afternoon.
Then we’ll track a weak cold front to move through around mid-week. It likely won’t bring a huge drop in temperatures, but better coverages of showers and storms should take place Wednesday into Wednesday night. Some storms may linger into Thursday depending on whether the timing of the front changes before drier weather arrives.
